The Singer’s Theatre Announces New In-Concert Intensive
The Singer’s Theatre is pleased to announce the launch of its new In-Concert Intensive, a tuition-based performance program for singers and actors ages 16 to adult.
Running from December 2026 to January 2027, this new intensive offers performers the opportunity to work through a compressed rehearsal process leading to concert performances at The Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts at the end of January 2027.
A full musical will be staged in concert format with orchestra, with the focus on strong vocal performance, acting through song, ensemble storytelling, and live concert presentation. Performances will be presented under full performance conditions, including professional sound and lighting, with select staged elements that may include costumes, physical staging, or projection.
Designed for performers with singing and acting experience, the In-Concert Intensive is primarily intended for ages 16 to adult, though younger performers may be considered where the casting needs of the chosen musical require it.
This new program expands The Singer’s Theatre’s performance opportunities to a wider age range, while continuing its commitment to high-quality training, meaningful storytelling, and professional-calibre performance experiences.
