For two extraordinary weeks, a company of young artists has given everything they have to bring Spindlewood to life.
Voices have grown stronger. Characters have found their hearts. Music has filled the room, scenes have been shaped and reshaped, and every costume, cue, movement, and moment has carried us closer to the stage.
Alongside them, musicians, designers, technicians, and mentors have worked with one shared purpose: to build something larger than any one person could create alone.
This is what The Singer’s Theatre is about—not simply rehearsing a musical, but discovering what becomes possible when artists challenge themselves, trust one another, and create as an ensemble.
Now, the rehearsals are over. The lights are ready. The musicians are in place. The company is waiting in the wings.
Now, all that work, courage, and imagination becomes theatre.

The Singer’s Theatre 2027 In-Concert Intensive
Open to performers ages 16 through adult
The Singer’s Theatre invites performers to audition for its 2027 In-Concert Intensive presentation of The Secret Garden, featuring music by Lucy Simon and book and lyrics by Marsha Norman.
This concentrated winter program will bring together a company of singers and actors for a focused rehearsal process culminating in performances at the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts in Kitchener.
All prospective participants must audition to be considered for the program and for casting. Before submitting an audition, please review the complete rehearsal and performance schedule to ensure you are available for the required dates.
