Fee Payments

Fees are paid in full upon registration and include applicable taxes and all materials, unless a material list is indicated. Returned cheques are subject to a $25.00 fee. Payment plans can be arranged for all programs. Payment plans must be made with post-dated cheques or cash only. Please request a fee schedule by email.

Registration is completed online when your audition or registration is booked. All successful registrants will receive a confirmation email.

If a class is full, you may choose to be placed on a wait list. If a space becomes available, students will be called in the order in which they appear on the wait list. Should you be contacted to fill an available spot, you will be given 24 hours to register, after which the space will be offered to the next person on the wait list.

*Please note that, starting in September, 2010, we are required to charge HST on all of our programs.

Refund Policy

• If a course is cancelled due to low enrollment, registrants will be given one week's notice, and a credit will remain on file unless a request is made for a transfer or a refund.
• Registrants may cancel from a program prior to the commencement of the first class of the term. A non-transferable $30.00 administration fee will be charged.
• Participants cancelling after the first class of the term will be charged for that class plus the non-transferable $30.00 administration fee. As of the start of the second class of the term, no refunds will be granted. Only requests accompanied by a medical certificate from the family physician will be considered.

The Performer's Creed

The Singer’s Theatre is a musical theatre company which aims to create performance opportunities for amateur and aspiring singers. All programs are designed with a strong focus on ensemble. Every participant will be challenged to take risks and grow in their craft, no matter how large or small a part they receive. Every performer is valued equally, and, as we have seen time and time again, the positive attitude that they bring to the program directly affects their experience on stage and off.

We firmly believe that, to understand the workings of the professional theatre world as well as the very basics of music and theatre, one must truly have experienced a sense of ensemble within a cast, in creating a story on a stage through music. This happens not with a cast of stars, but rather with a cast of supporting members. It is critical that they be given positive encouragement at home to work towards this goal. Your participation in our program tells us that you also are mindful of these performance values, and we thank you for allowing us to teach them to your child!
